This is a wall installation highlighting the University of California Santa Cruz Dining's commitment to sustainability. A combination of vinyl lettering, printed boards and images create a collage installation in the servery of the Cowell/Stevenson Dining Hall at UCSC. The photographs were taken at the UCSC Center for Agroecology Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS) farm and Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association (ALBA) organic farm, both of whom supply fresh seasonal, organic produce to the five UCSC Dining Halls. The inspiration for the project was to show students where their food comes from and to highlight to sustainability initiatives that UCSC Dining is involved with.
